Qualifications

VNE, LLC is looking for a TS/SCI Cleared Material Coordinator

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

  • High School diploma or GED.

Experience:

  • Five (5) years of experience, to include: Coordinating and expediting flow of material, parts, and assemblies within or between various buildings in accordance with Facility Manager or Facility Staff Engineer(s) priorities.
  • Reviewing production schedules and conferring with Facilities Staff to determine material requirements.
  • Arranging transfer of materials to meet production schedules; examining material to verify type specified for current project; and computing amount of material needed for specific job orders.
  • Compiling reports of quantity and type of material on hand and coordinating with Facility Staff for the repair and assembly/installation of facilities unique material.
  • TS/SCI level Clearance required.

Job Description:

  • Logistics support to the programs includes packaging, handling, shipping, and transportation of equipment in accordance with Government standards, as well as receipt, storage, issuance, tracking, documentation, and control of equipment.
  • Coordinate with government shipping and government management to provide timely responses and solutions.
  • Maintain required electronic database.
  • Perform efficiently in warehouse and dispatch environment by handling incoming and outgoing deliveries.
  • Obtain and process product orders, including receiving deliveries, registering them and distributing packages and letters within the company.
  • Maintain the company stockroom routinely organizing, cleaning and cataloging items.
  • Schedule large shipments and coordinate storage space for incoming items and staff for shipment management.
  • Manage issues arising in shipping or inventory handling.
  • Troubleshoot and solve shipping issues and customer complaints that arise.
  • Place merchandise in a warehouse or storage facility by packaging, lifting items as necessary, operating forklifts and pallet jacks for large goods.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and location of all items at all times.
  • Document all logistic movement.
  • Create and manage RMAs.
  • Collect & transfer gear cleared for DRMO disposal.

Essential Duties of the Job:

  • Ability to communicate task requirement information to client in a clear and concise manner.
  • Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time, as well as lead and participate in meetings and working groups.
  • Requires visual acuity to use a keyboard.
  • Must be able to attend work each day, during scheduled hours, unless on travel or approved time off.
  • Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face-to-face

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • While performing duties of job, employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
  • Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • May be exposed to chemicals related to office equipment.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate (i.e. general office environment).
