StraCon Services Group, LLC is seeking a full time Training Specialist to support our NAVAIR customer in Patuxent River MD. This position requires a combination of analytical skills, program management expertise, and familiarity with government acquisition processes. Successful candidates shall meet the minimum experience and education requirements and have demonstrated the necessary skills and experience to assist with the Functional Description listed below.
Essential Functions:
Plan, support, and coordinate training and development activities for end users.
Develop and write training documentation to include user instructions, reference guides, outlines, and computer-based training.
Deliver training presentations to individuals or groups of end users.
Develop and design story boards, use cases, and test scenarios.
Provide individual and group training on Team Center environment, reporting methods, and data exploration.
Qualifications and Experience:
Required:
At least three (3) years of technical experience in Logistics IT or IT support of Engineering activities or processes.
At least two (2) years of experience with PLM software, Siemens Teamcenter® preferred.
Ability to read and understand technical information.
Experience creating training documentation and plans for application functionality
Strong attention to detail.
Strong customer focus, including the ability to manage customer needs and multiple work priorities.
Needs strong oral and written communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent judgment and self-motivation.
Needs to be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Desired:
Experience working with-in NAVAIR and /or with logistics support programs. Familiar with the Agile methodology.
Security Clearance:
Must have an active Secret clearance with T5 (SSBI) investigation.
Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.
Education:
BS or BA degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Management, or related discipline.
An additional three (3) years of experience or an additional two (2) years of experience plus an associate degree or Military experience in one of the identified degrees or a related discipline can be substituted for a BS or BA.
