Blu Omega is seeking an experienced software sustainment accessibility designer onsite in the greater Las Vegas area.
The Opportunity:
As a software sustainment accessibility designer, you play a pivotal role in an application’s functional life. From troubleshooting to fixing bugs, you use your operations and maintenance skills to ensure that things run smoothly. We’re looking for an experienced software sustainment accessibility designer like you to apply your knowledge to our government clients’ challenges and legacy enterprise systems.
As a software sustainment accessibility designer, you’ll have an operational impact from day one. With a team of professionals, you’ll maintain applications and keep systems working. You and your team will use programming and scripting languages as you continuously enhance and maintain the applications, troubleshoot any issues that arise operationally, and upgrade the systems to meet security requirements.
Requirements:
Experience with software development using Python, Java, C#, or C/C++
Experience working with systems in a sustainment mode
Knowledge of source control systems, including Git
Ability to create and test modules, interfaces, and components
Experience with workflows, web parts, site maintenance, APIs, or cloud platforms
Top Secret clearance
Experience reviewing vulnerabilities and maintaining and making minor changes to existing applications
Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of experience with software development in lieu of a degree
CompTIA CASP+, CISSP, or a CSSLP Certification
Nice to have:
Experience with Red or Blue Team
Experience with legacy enterprise systems, working in a microservices or distributed application environment
Experience with .NET, JavaScript,
Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
Experience with Microsoft products, including SharePoint, Windows Server, or SQL Server
Knowledge of shell scripting and automation
Knowledge of DevOps, continuous integration, and continuous deployment
Knowledge of relational and hierarchal data structures and functional programming
Ability to lead design and code reviews and address findings within a collaborative, cross-functional team in an agile environment
Salary range: $115-130k
