Contract Position

Contribute to a company at the forefront of mission-critical systems and technologies in defense and security. This leader in global defense integrates advanced technology to deliver information and insights on the battlefield, offering roles that support security and technological superiority across multiple domains.
Responsibilities:
- Perform complex production assembly tasks, including wiring, hand soldering, component installation, and cable harnessing for subassemblies and units.
- Read and interpret schematics, drawings, and Bills of Material (BOM), and follow detailed methods, techniques, and sequences of operations.
- Integrate subassemblies into final hardware, perform final system assembly, and conduct basic electrical tests.
- Execute rework and refurbishment of hardware and systems as needed.
- Operate and apply measuring equipment, ensuring compliance with inspection criteria and applicable work order tracking systems.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Clearance: Ability to obtain or hold a Secret Clearance.
- Technical Skills:
- Clear knowledge of polarity, inspection criteria, and work order tracking management systems.
- Familiarity with measuring equipment and basic math skills.
- Preferred Skills:
- Experience with JST Space Addendum or NASA 8739 soldering standards.
