The Operations Support Management will provide expert guidance to other contractors on SharePoint, Business Application Development, and Configuration Management, applying SDLC principles.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Provide expert guidance to other contractors on SharePoint, Business Application Development, and Configuration Management, applying SDLC principles. [cite: 267]
• Conduct research and coordinate efforts to leverage cutting-edge technologies in SharePoint, Business Application Development, and Configuration Management. [cite: 268]
• Maintain a strong understanding of geopolitical issues and U.S. doctrine relevant to the AFCENT AOR, particularly concerning SharePoint, Business Application Development, and Configuration Management. [cite: 269]
• Deliver clear and concise oral and written briefs to senior IT managers, explaining and supporting recommendations related to SharePoint, Business Application Development, and Configuration Management. [cite: 270]
• Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance, adhering to appropriate attire standards for this senior staff position. [cite: 271]
• Provide functional management of the Change Advisory Board (CAB), including scheduling meetings, collecting agenda items, recording minutes, and publishing information. [cite: 272]
• Monitor, process, and manage Systems Requirements Documents (AF 3215) in support of the AFCENT mission. [cite: 273]
• Review and coordinate all NOSC Communications Task Orders (CTO) submissions and release them to AFCENT Forward for publishing. [cite: 274]
• Understand and apply AFI and DoD guidance on web and business application development; write and update the concept of operations for AFCENT Enterprise web policy and implementation. [cite: 275]
• Manage the development of training materials, web pages, programming languages, and third-party web applications used to support SharePoint on the AFCENT Enterprise, including classroom and seminar training. [cite: 276]
• Review technical project documentation for final draft coordination and subsequent release. [cite: 277]
• Possess extensive networking background in system administration or network engineering to manage the development of technical documents. [cite: 279]
• Assist the Training Manager in developing/modifying standardized training to meet AFCENT NOSC mission requirements and monitor local NOSC certifications and evaluations. [cite: 280]
• Review standard systems and network processes and checklists to ensure they meet prescribed standards and are easily executed. [cite: 281]
• Coordinate technical visits from DoD activities, contractors, and commercial vendors. [cite: 282]
• Assist personnel with project documentation and website development as needed. [cite: 278]
• Assist the Chief of the Operating Support Team (OST) in providing technical and status updates to the NOSC commander on a weekly basis, prepared to brief all OST project and production issues with little or no notice.
• Deliver On-call support outside normal business hours, as required
Essential Required Experience & Skills:
• TS clearance with SCI eligibility
• ITIL Foundation certification
• IT operations/services management experience
• Developer experience
Educational Requirements:
• MS in a related field with 7 or more years of experience (preferred); or 10 or more years of relevant IT experience
Travel:
• Occasional CONUS TDY travel for meetings and training
• Occasional OCONUS TDY travel to the CENTCOM AoR, including Al Udeid AB, Qatar
