Description
Prevailance is seeking a skilled and mission-focused Data Analyst to support the Surface Warfare Schools Command (SWSC). This role involves providing Systems Engineering and Training Analysis services across multiple focus areas, including Manpower and Personnel, Infrastructure, Functional Integration Management (FIM), Training Management, Documentation, Training Systems Acquisition and Lifecycle, and International Programs (IP).
The position also involves supporting Foreign Military Sales (FMS) initiatives for international partners such as the Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force, Spain, South Korea, Norway, Australia, Singapore, and future IP endeavors.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform data analysis, submission, tracking, follow-up, and documentation using applicable systems, programs, and software
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is essential
Summarize and disseminate results of reviews, analyses, and evaluations of current procedures and processes
Collect and analyze relevant materials and data to identify issues and make recommendations to address and prevent problems
Collaborate with Mission Area Chairs (MAC) to determine annual Program Objective Memorandum (POM) requirements
Attend Spring and Fall Surface Warfare Training Committee (SWTC) events to contribute to planning and implementation
Requirements
Qualifications:
A minimum of six (6) years of U.S. Navy experience
Three (3) or more years of technical expertise with U.S. Surface Combatant platforms and their associated warfighting capabilities, specifically focusing on Cruiser and Destroyer configurations
Deep understanding of:
The interrelationship between Surface Combatant configurations, fleet readiness requirements, and land-based test sites, including training commands
The U.S. Navy deployment cycle and its impact on readiness and training systems
Desired Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent oral and written communication abilities
A collaborative mindset with a strong commitment to personal accountability and teamwork
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Clearance:
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
