508 Compliance Tester

Description
Gridiron IT is looking to hire a 508 Compliance Tester to support a government program. This role will be responsible for auditing a suite of 36 modules for accessibility compliance. While auditing a module, you will document concerns as stories in JIRA. You will also attend design sessions as the accessibility advocate.
Responsibilities
Provide expertise in the planning, constructing and execution of test scripts.
Apply business and functional knowledge including testing standards, guidelines, and testing methodology to meet the team's overall test objectives.
Ensure all testing results are easily accessible and understandable.
Track defects to closure and keep defect repository up-to-date.
Qualifications
Active Top-Secret Clearance
Bachelor’s Degree (or an Associate’s Degree with 2 years’ experience, or 3 years work experience)
Experience with JAWS, ANDI, and WAVE
Experience with the WCAG success criterion
Experience with accessibility auditing and documenting remediation plans
Preferred Qualifications
Certified DHS Trusted Tester
Experience with JIRA/CONFLUENCE
Working knowledge of the SAFe methodology
Experience with Pega
Clearance

Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range: $40-58 hourly (Compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, skills, education, certifications, seniority, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.)
