Full Job Description:
Zachary Piper Solutions is looking for a Contract Specialist to join a team focused on assisting in the negotiation of contracts with a government agency. This position will require 1 day in office, 4 days remote, located in Arlington, VA.
Responsibilities/Overview:
• Preparation and Administration of terms and conditions of Department of Defense Research and Development contracts.
• Analyzing procurement polices and procedures, as well as proposed costs and prices.
• Preparing required contract file documentation per the FAR, DFARS, and other relevant polices/regulations.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8-12 years' experience in government procurement including preparing cost proposals, negotiating terms and conditions of contracts, preparing contract modifications, administering contracts or subcontracts, and analyzing cost and prices.
• DFAR experience
• DOD experience preferred
• Active DoD security clearance required.
• US Citizen.
Compensation and Benefits:
• Salary Range $140,000-$175,000 (based on experience)
