The 688th Cyberspace Wing (688 CW) seeks a highly motivated and experienced Cyber Operations Planner to play a critical role in developing and implementing Air Force (AF) cyber operations plans and strategies.
Responsibilities:
• Plan, implement, and execute assigned AF cyber operations plans and strategy.
• Develop detailed Cyber Ops Planning products across the AFIN, ensuring seamless integration with cyberspace operations for various commands.
• Assist in defining, outlining, and documenting strategic and tactical plans, intelligence interfaces, and data analytics for mission assurance through cyberspace.
• Analyze national-level strategy and defense guidance to conduct comprehensive campaign planning and integrate cyberspace requirements into the national defense strategy.
• Support continuous assessment of USAF, DoD, and CCMD cyberspace operations, analyzing data and providing recommendations for adjustments.
• Develop Cyber Ops Planning products for cyber operations and training, refining operating concepts to support mission accomplishment.
• Interpret regulations and provide guidance to units on implementing headquarters' directives.
• Identify resource requirements for campaign objectives and contribute to policy development.
• Facilitate cyberspace program planning and operations across the DoD and CCMDs.
• Analyze data and reports to identify and address policy and operational challenges.
• Provide expert advice on cyberspace policy and program issues to government staff.
• Collect and analyze data for Cyber Ops Planning products, recommending program adjustments based on feedback.
• Keep senior leadership informed of problem areas and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with counterparts to gain lessons learned and improve analysis effectiveness.
• Participate in conferences, meetings, and symposiums as required.
Qualifications:
• Mastery of cyberspace operations planning and experience with computer network defense.
• Strong understanding of joint publications and operations.
• Expertise in the National Security Strategy, National Defense Strategy, and USCYBERCOM Campaign Plans.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• TS/SCI
• 3+ years of experience
• At least one of the following Weapons Systems/Technologies: AFINC, ACD, CDA, CSCS, JWICS, SAP, and XCOMM
• IAT II/IAM II or above Certified
