Senior DevSecOps Engineer / Configuration Analyst

Seeking a highly motivated and self-directed professional to fill an opening for a Senior DevSecOps Engineer / Configuration Analyst

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintenance and ongoing development of continuous build/ integration infrastructure in Microsoft Azure.
• Source Control Management / Documentation.
• Creating and maintaining fully automated CI build processes for multiple environments in Microsoft Azure.
• Writing build and deployment scripts using Ansible, bash, Python, GitHub Actions.
• Supporting CI/CD tools integration/ operations/ change management, and maintenance.
• Support full automation of CI/ Testing.
• Supporting policies, standards, guidelines, governance, and related guidance for both CI/CD operations and for work of developers.
• Enable successful release management by moving code from Development and Testing environments to Staging and Production
• Work closely with software developers, production support, and information security to automate and support infrastructure and tooling in Microsoft Azure.
• Apply automated deployment tool sets and infrastructure including environments and code management using Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery processes.
• Perform and/or support response activities for operational and security incidents.
• Provide guidance and apply agile and DevOps/DevSecOps practices to streamline product delivery and reliable operations of products.
• Continuously identify opportunities to automate and save time.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Exceptional Communication Skills: must demonstrate outstanding verbal and written communication abilities. This includes clear, articulate speech that is easy to understand, and precise, well-structured written communication with strong grammar.
• Clarity and Professionalism in Interactions: communicates ideas and information effectively to ensure easy understanding and engagement with diverse audiences.
• Proficient with Source Control Management best practices, automation tools
• Expertise with build automation tools- Jenkins, GitHub Actions Azure Pipelines, AWS Codebuild.
• Prior DevOps, Ansible, Jenkins, Git, GitHub, Tomcat, Azure pipelines, Azure DevOps experience.
• Experience with content management and issue tracking (JIRA)
• Experience learning, sharing, and implementing best practices with the ability to establish operational processes, implement DevOps, deployment checklists.
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment build tools (Jenkins, Ansible)
• Knowledge of developing solutions in an iterative (agile) approach
• Knowledge of basic networking concepts
• Knowledge of system configuration tools and implementation of architectural frameworks
• Knowledge of source code control management systems and configuration management (Git and Rational preferred)
• Knowledge of with Linux Admin: Maintain/upgrade Linux packages, security, networking, performance tuning, system resource management, capacity planning, user process monitoring.
• Ability to utilize logs (Application Insights, CloudWatch, etc.) to aid in troubleshooting issues.
• Knowledge of scripting languages; Linux Scripting: Fluent on Linux scripting e.g. Bash/Shell, Ruby, Perl, Python, or similar.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Security clearance.

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline is required.
• Recent Microsoft Azure DevOps Engineer Expert Certification
• 8 years of relevant DevOps experience
• 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.
• 4 years with CI/CD and support of Microsoft Azure environment
