M1 Support Services is looking for a Senior Logistics Manager with the following knowledge and experience:

Primary Requirements:
1. Manage an efficient and cost-effective logistics system that includes all materiel management, property control and vehicle transportation functions. Manages accountability for Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and Contractor Acquired Property to maintain audit readiness along with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) compliance.

2. Oversees and provides supply liaison support to all Operating Locations for the T-38 Aircraft Maintenance Program (AMP) and Centralized Repair Facility work centers to guarantee prompt ordering of spare components. Required to visit each Operating Location at least annually.

3. Leads expedited resolution of Mission Impaired Capability Awaiting Parts (MICAP) incidents to include low priority requisition to sustain maintenance operations.

4. Manages and coordinates Due-In-From-Maintenance spares (components) back to the customers supply system for depot level retrograde repair. Leads compliance of ordering consumable parts supporting base repair of Line Replacement Units (LRU).

5. Resolves supply sustainment shortfalls due to low demands or surge in requirements. Initiates Adjusted Stock Levels to increase demand levels and enhance stock prepositioning.

6. Ensures compliance with bench stock, shop stock and work order residue procedures per Air Force instructions or manuals. Oversees adherence to reusable container program.

7. Advocate for program’s supply sustainment requirements with lead and subordinate MAJCOM functionals, regional supply squadrons, and system program office functionals.

8. Purchasing Agent for AMP to include all purchasing requisitions for AMP per the PWS and FAR.

9. Working knowledge of managing large Government Property Accounts ($100M+) of Aviation Material, tooling, Ground Support Equipment, Special Test equipment, and facilities.

Duties Include:

1. Manages logistics programs (GFP, Materiel Management and Transportation)

2. Oversees EMU and AMU supply actions in ILS-S, IMDS and any additional database for the customer.

3. Manages DIFM process through LRS for retrograde of reparable carcasses for all five sites.

4. Utilizes Equipment Management System to validate authorizations / backorders

5. Analyzes Materiel Management functions, identify constraints / preventive measures

6. Sign and account for all of AMPs GFP

7. Responsible for research, purchase, and disposal of all GFE equipment, furniture, R14 items and scrap metal through the supply system, DLA, or other government disposal system.

8. Monitors vehicle fleet for inspections, repairs, flightline access requests, insurance, and registration for all five sites.

9. Coordinate and perform Logistics Audit in conjunction with the Quality Manager. 10. Submit required reports per the Customers’, Contract, and Company.

Education Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s Degree is required (Any field of study)

2. APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) May be obtained within 12-months of being hired.

3. 15 years’ experience in Air Force Logistics Support, DMS, COSO, Equipment/SPRAM control, supply, and retail functions with a minimum of 4 years of this time being in an Air Force core regionalized supply chain function.
