INDUS supports the planning, coordination, and installation activities of Combat System and Command, Control, Communications, Computer, and Intelligence (C5I) Systems in aircraft carriers, and other strike group or strike force units (including but not limited to LHA, LHD, LPD, and other L-Class units). Our team is directly responsible for supporting the planning, budgeting, and execution of New Construction (SCN) testing and modernization efforts in support of the Modernization and Installation Department (N Department), Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Port Hueneme Division (PHD).

Reporting to the Program Manager, the CVN C5I Analyst provides support in determining C5I system capabilities and threat analysis on the CVN/L-Class Support Services contract. This includes providing technical analysis and review with CNAL/CNAP N6, N84 and N435 for execution of C5I Modernization Process program (C5IMP) support on behalf of the Modernization and Installation Department (N Department), Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Port Hueneme Division (PHD). This position is located in Norfolk, VA.

What You'll Do
  • Review, analyze, and recommend requirements for introduction of new C5I systems to meet current and emerging threats. Analysis shall include updated threat analyses from ONI and other sources.
  • Prepare a monthly report and support all recommendations and alternate recommendations with up-to-date data and data-analysis. Contractor shall prepare high-level, professional presentations that outline processes to be deployed, likely outcomes, and alternative outcomes - and shall outline the varying data/information to develop the recommendations.
  • Communicate with various command levels, including OPNAV resource sponsors, Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), Naval Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR), Naval Information Warfare Command (NAVIFOR) and CNAL/CNAP leadership.
  • Review and provide comments to the USFF Baseline Configuration Change Plan (BCCP) to ensure fielding plans of new systems Capability/Capacity Assessments are completed, System Wholeness Assessments are completed, and the CVN C5I systems meet requirements to pace the threat. This includes providing technical analysis and review with CNAL/CNAP N6, N84 and N435 for execution of C5I Modernization Process program (C5IMP).
  • Develop and present a semi-annual CVN C5I Requirements Capability Evolution Plan, for CNAP/CNAL approval. This information will be presented to the Navy C5I Modernization Conference (NCMC).
  • Coordinate with CNAL N2, N6, N84 and N435 to ensure installed CVN C5I systems meet stated requirements to be ready in support of mission. Readiness of C5I will be assessed utilizing scheduled events such as SOVTs, C5RA, OCSOT, CSOT and DGSITs well before CVN CSG C2X.
  • Bid and proposal support if requested.
  • Other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

  • An active secret clearance is required to be considered for this position.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university required (additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree).
  • At least five (5) years of experience providing combat systems test, engineering, or integration support services.
  • Must be able to travel and work aboard Navy ships.
  • Must possess basic computer literacy and data entry skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (to include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
  • Must possess strong time management skills.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment.
  • Must be able to remain seated in a stationary position 50% of the time. Must also be able to alternate between sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Travel Required ~10% travel required.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Aircraft Carrier C5I systems and C5I interface architecture.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
