Scrum Master

Omitron is seeking a Scrum Master to lead and facilitate Agile practices for a defense contract program supporting critical national security objectives, joining our team in Colorado Springs, CO. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product owners, and stakeholders, to ensure the successful delivery of complex systems and solutions.

Responsibilities:

• ScrumMaster for Test, Training, and Exercise (TTX) for an Agile development product team
• Remove impediments and ensure development is moving along.
• Interface with multiple teammates to coordinate development activities.
• Interface with Product Owner, Development Team, Systems Engineering, and Senior Management.
• Ability to work well in a team environment, as well as independently.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Support and plan Agile sprints to break software development tasks into logical and efficient software packages supporting a wide variety of satellite safety tasks.
• Be adaptable to changing priorities in development activities
• Understanding of Java, Application Development, and object-oriented programming principles.

Minimum Requirements:

• US Citizenship required
• Security Clearance: Ability to obtain a security clearance
• Education: Bachelor's degree with experience in software engineering or software development with Java
• Experience: 4+ years of relevant experience

Desired Qualifications:

• Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certification or ScrumMaster experience
• Strong skill set with Jira
• Strong skill set with Confluence
• Red Hat Linux and Windows experience
• Familiarity with DevOps Pipelines
• Familiarity with Test Automation Framework (TAF) and Test-Driven Development (TDD)
• Familiarity with development tools such as Gitlab, Maven, and IDEs such as IntelliJ
• Familiarity with web technologies such as Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX
• Experience serving government customers a plus
• Current TS/SCI security clearance
• Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience

Compensation and Benefits:
The salary range for this role is $100,000 to $150,000, depending on relevant experience, location, and other factors.
