Job Title: Program Scheduler

Responsible for creating, maintaining, and managing detailed program schedules within a program, collaborating with project managers and stakeholders to ensure timely completion of tasks, identifying potential delays, and communicating schedule updates throughout the project lifecycle, often utilizing specialized project management software to track progress and adjust schedules as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and update comprehensive program schedules using industry-standard tools such as MS Project or Primavera.
  • Collaborate with program and project management teams to ensure accurate and realistic schedule baselines and updates.
  • Conduct schedule risk analysis and provide mitigation strategies to maintain project timelines.
  • Integrate multiple project schedules into a master schedule, ensuring consistency and alignment with program objectives.
  • Provide detailed schedule analysis, progress reports, and metrics to stakeholders, including earned value management (EVM) tracking.
  • Act as a key liaison between program managers, subcontractors, and team leads to maintain schedule alignment.
  • Support Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) reviews, deliverables, and reporting for contract compliance.
  • Identify and report critical path activities, variances, and opportunities to meet program goals.
  • Mentor junior schedulers and contribute to process improvement initiatives


Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Active Secret Security Clearance
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or a related field; 10+ years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience:

    • Minimum 4 years of experience in scheduling or program management support roles.
    • Extensive experience with MS Project, Primavera, or similar tools.
    • Proven ability to develop and manage complex schedules in a government contracting environment.
    • Experience integrating subcontractor schedules and maintaining consistency with overarching program timelines.
  • Skills:

    • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
    • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration across diverse teams.
    • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Proposed Pay Scale: $120,200-$145,600
