Defense Acquisition Support Services (DAS) is seeking a skilled Functional Support Agreements Manager to join our team at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), MD. This position offers an exciting opportunity to support mission-critical operations while working with a collaborative and dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, negotiate, and manage Functional Support Agreements (FSAs) in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational and customer requirements.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Department of Defense (DoD) FSA processes, ensuring compliance with applicable policies, directives, and standards.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for FSA-related inquiries, facilitating communication between functional areas, leadership, and external customers.
  • Analyze and interpret support requirements, costs, and deliverables to develop FSAs that align with budget constraints and mission objectives.
  • Conduct regular reviews of existing FSAs to identify gaps, improve efficiencies, and ensure performance metrics are met.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to define support needs, develop solutions, and address challenges related to FSAs.
  • Provide expert guidance on FSA policy implementation, contract management, and sustainment planning.
  • Support audits, reviews, and inspections by preparing required documentation and providing detailed briefings as needed.

Minimum Requirements
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. (4 additional years experience may substitute)
  • 3+ years of experience in FSA development, sustainment, or related logistics/contract management roles.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of DoD policies, procedures, and frameworks for FSAs (e.g., DoDI 4000.19).
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant logistics or contract management software.

Desired Qualifications and Experience
  • Prior military officer experience or equivalent DoD experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in support agreement negotiation and sustainment planning for large-scale defense programs.
  • Experience briefing senior leadership and preparing policy-compliant documentation.
