Responsible for all logistics functions company wide.

Responsible for contract-related logistics data and reporting. This includes but is not limited to:

Developing and updating the IUID repository on PIEE as specified in the respective Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL).

Printing and attaching IUID tags for needed equipment.

Developing Logistics Product Data reports in PowerLogJ2.

This position will be required to develop LSAR documents from scratch for new contracts; and review and update LSAR documents for existing contracts.

Establishing all Preventative Maintenance and Maintenance allocations for equipment.

Developing the logistics plans for received, kitting, and shipping training systems around the world.

Conducting reoccurring inventories as required by the contract Performance Work Statement (PWS) and updating inventory documents. Inventories include items such as GFP, GFE, and consumables, including Class VIII.

Tracking consumables and projecting consumable ordering needs based on historical usage.

Tracking GFP in PIEE.

Responsible for documenting and tracking equipment warranties.

Responsible for company warehouse operations:

Responsible for inventory of company assets at SIMETRI Headquarters in Orlando, Florida. This includes the organization of company assets, and documenting equipment and inventory location for ease of locating by employees.

Establish a warehouse procedure for tracking equipment that is checked-in and checked-out.

Responsible for documenting and tracking equipment warranties.

Maintain and develop positive business relationships with a customer’s key personnel involved in, or directly relevant to, a logistics activity.

Responsible for shipping and receiving for manufacturing operations.

Responsible for tracking the receipt of materials and equipment related to company manufacturing operations.

Responsible for preparing products for shipment to customers.

Identify or develop business rules or standard operating procedures to streamline operating processes.

Develop specifications for equipment, tools, facility layouts, or material-handling systems
Propose logistics solutions for customers.


Skills/Experience Requirements:

Experience with DoD Supply procedures and systems. Medical supply experience is recommended, and US Army Medical and Special Forces Supply experience is a plus.

Experience working with Microsoft suite of products (Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, SharePoint).

Experience with Jira is recommended but not required.

Experience with PowerLogJ2 required.

Experience with PIEE required.

Experience developing LSAR reports is required.

Experience with a forklift is recommended.

Understanding of best practices in logistics.

Strong analytical skills.

Technological capabilities to use logistics software easily.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Customer service skills.

Organizational skills.
