Job Description:

Responsibilities

The S&VSE will Install, configure, test, deploy and maintain hosted VMware products, Virtual Storage tools to include but not limited to Access Control, Virtual Machine File System (VMFS) Datastores, and ESXi Servers. The S&VSE's full time duty location will be onsite at Shaw AFB, SC but travel may be required to countries within the CENTCOM Area of Operations.

Job duties:

• Ensure and maintain enterprise backups are executed by configuring appropriately scheduled back up jobs.


• Develop reports and trend analysis documentation on bandwidth and network security


• Create and manage network Managing Tasks, Events and Alarms.


• Use advanced technical writing skills to develop and update IT systems Concept of operations and engineering plans.


• Maintain and troubleshoot enterprise trouble ticketing Utilize tool capability to enhance AFCENT NOSC Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) efforts.


• Assist with enterprise database SQL tasks (i.e. DISA STIGs) as determined by the AFCENT NOSC.


• Perform analysis for collaboration of network / system needs and participate in planning, designing, upgrading and deployment of enterprise datacenter hardware and software.

Qualifications

• Senior-level and higher- B.S. in related field AND 5 or more years relevant IT experience; OR 7 or more years relevant IT experience.


• Mid-level or lower- Associates in related field and 3 or more years' relevant IT experience; OR 5 or more years of relevant IT experience.


• VCTA, CCNA, or Network+, and ITIL Foundation required.


• Active Secret Clearance required.
