Job Description:
Responsibilities
The CDNAD&ES will design and engineer campus/datacenter architecture. The CDNAD&ES's full time duty location will be onsite at Shaw AFB, SC but travel may be required to countries within the CENTCOM Area of Operations.
Job duties:
- Configure, design, and maintain datacenter network architecture equipment to include but not limited to, Nexus 9K, 7K, 5K, 2K and Aggregation Services Router (ASR) and Integrated Services Router (ISR).
- Hold thorough understanding of IP concepts including Implement routing, VLAN's, QoS, tuning and capacity management concepts.
- Be proficient in routing protocols: OSPF, EIGRP, BGP and
- Hold Strong understanding of1x.
- Use extensive Wireless LAN background to designing campus network architectures to provide proper coverage and support the ability for user to seamless move between WLAN access nodes without disconnection or other interruptions in service using appropriate and relevant networking protocols.
- Analyze a myriad of networking metrics and recognize sub-par network
- Develop reports and trend analysis documentation on bandwidth and network security
Qualifications
- Senior-level and higher- B.S. in related field AND 5 or more years relevant IT experience; OR 7 or more years relevant IT experience.
- Mid-level or lower- Associates in related field and 3 or more years' relevant IT experience; OR 5 or more years of relevant IT experience.
- CCNP, VCTA and ITIL Foundation required.
- Active Secret Clearance required.
