We are seeking a Software Engineer - Appian to join our dedicated team and lead the charge in developing sophisticated software solutions that drive mission success. What You'll Do
As a Software Engineer - Appian, you'll:
- Gather, analyze, and define requirements to design software and web technologies that meet client needs.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems while adhering to formal design processes and industry standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex software challenges, ensuring seamless integration and functionality across systems.
- Provide expertise in system design, product integration, and the adoption of new technologies to optimize application performance.
- Work in high-side Linux environments to support and enhance mission-critical applications.

5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD
Required Qualifications:
- Education & Experience: BA/BS degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience.
An additional 4 years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. - Clearance: Active Top-Secret clearance with eligibility to obtain SCI and a polygraph.
- Certifications: Security+ certification.
- Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in Java and Python (any level of experience accepted).
- Experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL databases (any level of experience accepted).
- At least 2 years of experience designing, developing, or supporting Appian or Appian-based applications.
- Adaptability: Ability to complete development work in secure, high-side Linux environments.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with government clients and stakeholders.
- Experience in cloud technologies and understanding of the DIA engineering environment.
- Proficiency in user feedback capture, process creation, and sustainable system improvements.
- Experience with FIDBOS-X and engineering federal government core processes using Appian.
