Responsibilities
The EOM will plan, organize, and manage staff and overall operations management to ensure alignment with AFCENT, USCENTCOM, and HQ Air Force requirements. The EOM's full time duty location will be onsite at Shaw AFB, SC but travel may be required to countries within the CENTCOM Area of Operations.

Job Description:
Responsibilities
The EOM will plan, organize, and manage staff and overall operations management to ensure alignment with AFCENT, USCENTCOM, and HQ Air Force requirements. The EOM's full time duty location will be onsite at Shaw AFB, SC but travel may be required to countries within the CENTCOM Area of Operations.
Job duties:
- Responsible for the overall monitoring, status reporting and coordination of actions for the AFCENT enterprise network.
- Provide oversight and guidance to team of technical professionals responsible for supporting the AFCENT enterprise network.
- Responsible for the management of network performance and end-to-end service quality for the Network infrastructure.
- Reviews and analyzes overall end-to-end network performance in order to maintain an acceptable level of network quality of service.
- Participates in the assessment and selection of the network performance and management tools/systems for existing and new network technologies and services.
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) on to respond to unexpected issues or
- planned/unplanned disruptions in AFCENT's support services, to include but not limited to power outages, hardware failures, natural disasters, etc.
- Identify trends that may lead to service or network disruption and recommend remediation actions.
- Conduct operational impact assessments of outages and potential
- Coordinate and manage authorized service interruptions with internal and external
Qualifications
- B.S. in related field and 3 or more years' relevant experience(preferred); OR 5 or more years of relevant experience AND IT operations/services management, Unix/Linux, HBSS, and Firewall experience.
- VCTA, CCNA, and ITIL Foundations required.
- Active TS Clearance with SCI Eligibility required.
