Apogee Solutions, a Woman-Owned Small Business, is seeking a Full Time Strategic Equipping Analyst to support The Office of The Chief Army Reserve Force Management at Fort Liberty. Qualified candidates must have a SECRET clearance.
The Office of The Chief Army Reserve Force Management is responsible to fully develop Force Structure requirements, conduct Force Integration of organizational designs and plans, and conduct Force Accounting and Allocation of authorizations to provide the Army Reserve Commanders with a more accessible and readily deployable force. Apogee Solutions supports the Force Management (FM) process through reviews, studies, analysis, assessments, and functional expertise, encompassing conceptual development, capabilities requirements generation, Force Development, Organizational Development, Force Integration Functions, and Force Accounting of resources within the Department of Defense.
The Strategic Equipping Analyst will:
Analyze equipping strategy and documents and provide analytic and data support for fleet management.
Identify funding gaps in support of POM development.
Serve as the resident expert for analysis of all Army’s equipping strategy and documents for mission command.
Review and analyze the Army’s equipping strategy and documents regarding equipment resourcing and distribution.
Develop equipment reports and defend fiscal resources in support of Army Reserve.
Maintain data integrity and update equipment information in various databases.
Provide input to Program Analysis and Evaluation (PA&E) on equipping and sustaining issues in support of the POM process.
Analyze and evaluate fiscal resources and requirements throughout the POM and evaluate impact to Army Reserve equipping.
Develop recommendations for resourcing priorities to improve readiness and maximize capabilities.
Required Experience
US Citizen with DOD SECRET Clearance
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, or related field
5 years of Army Reserve or Army National Guard equipping experience
Working knowledge of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process and equipment requirements associated with Army Reserve structure
Ability to analyze and interpret DOD guidance, navigate and extract data from Army equipping databases
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel
Ability to work independently, under tight deadlines at times
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills
High degree of interpersonal competence and initiative to work with a variety of personalities
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
