Algorithm Developer III - SAR Data / Imagery

Epsilon C5I (www.epsilonsystems.com/c5i), focused on software development and systems engineering for complex command, control, intelligence and combat systems, is seeking a Algorithm Developer III with 4-8 years' experience for work in San Diego, CA . Duties & Responsibilities:

• Work within an AGILE software development and integration environment.
• Create and enhance software applications using Python, Java, and web-based technologies
• Develop software code to model data types, equipment, servers, signals and networks to produce realistic and repeatable data.
• Develop processes and practices to integrate Infrastructure as Code (IAC) utilizing commercial environments such as AWS
• Work with a SAR expert at Naval Postgraduate School (NPS).
• Coordinate data accesses within the Intelligence Community.
• Tasking includes leveraging and adapting existing Matlab source code to facilitate the extraction of exquisite features from SAR imagery chips.

**Prior SAR data expertise is not required

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.
• Four to eight (4-8) years of software engineering experience
• Candidates must have an active DoD Top Secret Clearance with SCI Access
• Strong interpersonal skills, telephone etiquette, and professional demeanor.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Effective team player with highly proficient customer service skills.
• Pursuant to the various government contractual requirements, all applicants must be U.S. Citizens.

Pay Range:

The pay range for this role is $125,000 to $150,000 annually. This is a reasonable estimate for this role. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

• Regular communication (hearing/speaking).
• Noise conditions range from very quiet to very noisy.
• Prolonged use of computer (typing/keyboarding).
• Frequently required to sit for long periods of time, stand, walk, and may occasionally lift and move at least 25 pounds.
• Ability to travel by car, air or other means of transportation, if required.
