Epsilon C5I (www.epsilonsystems.com/c5i), focused on software development and systems engineering for complex command, control, intelligence and combat systems, is seeking a Signal Processor / Data Analyst III with 4-8 years' experience for work in San Diego, CA . Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing and running signal processing automation scripts in Matlab and compiling data processing results.
  • Work with engineers to build statistical models, test hypotheses, and interpret, summarize, visualize, and succinctly report data findings.
  • Supporting and facilitating engineering projects including new product/solution development, product changes, and customer integration
  • Responsible for a range of tasks supporting the program needs with data management, data modeling, and data verification, while supporting the overall program goals and expectations.
  • Performs analytics, modeling, and report building: communicating technical issues within the project team while working closely with contractors, suppliers, and program staff.
  • Identifies and translates complex data analytics concepts and findings into concise, written and graphical data analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of program operations which helps inform critical department policy and management decisions.
  • Conducts, leads, or oversees data analyses using software and/or programming languages including but not limited to SQL, SAS, MS Power BI, Tableau etc. to explore/group data, test hypotheses, predict outcomes, and inform decisions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field
  • Four to eight (4-8) years working in with Navy SSEE. Signals Collection, Data Analysis or, combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.
  • Candidates must have an active DoD Top Secret Clearance with SCI Access
  • Strong interpersonal skills, telephone etiquette, and professional demeanor.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Effective team player with highly proficient customer service skills.
  • Pursuant to the various government contractual requirements, all applicants must be U.S. Citizens.

Pay Range:

The pay range for this role is $125,000 to $150,000 annually. This is a reasonable estimate for this role. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

  • Regular communication (hearing/speaking).
  • Noise conditions range from very quiet to very noisy.
  • Prolonged use of computer (typing/keyboarding).
  • Frequently required to sit for long periods of time, stand, walk, and may occasionally lift and move at least 25 pounds.
  • Ability to travel by car, air or other means of transportation, if required.
