Position: Combat System Configuration Manager Program Analyst

International Systems Management Corp. (ISM) is seeking qualified, technical analysts for full-
time position to provide shipboard Combat System (CS) configuration management to support
the Naval Sea Systems Command’s Program Executive Office Ships (PEO Ships) which
manages the design and construction of Arleigh Burke class destroyers (DDG-51). The position
requires an ability to articulate technical issues in a clear, concise, understandable manner in
verbal and written formats and to work productively in team environments. The ideal candidate
is dynamic and proactive in meeting customer needs and has the ability to prioritize tasks and
coordinate activities across numerous organizations.
Required experience:
• 3-5 years plus of professional experience with knowledge of USN Combat Systems
and/or Combat System change process
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Products including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint,
and Outlook
• Assessing and developing recommendations for proposed system improvements, design
changes, and total ownership cost reduction initiatives
• Reviewing and evaluating system test plans, Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL)
deliverables, Ship Change Documents (SCD), and Engineering Change Proposals (ECP)
• Participating in test readiness reviews and assessment of test results

Desired experience in the following areas will improve applicant’s suitability for these positions.
• Prior DDG 51 shipbuilding program or USN Surface Combatant experience
• Knowledge of DDG 51 Combat Systems or the PMS 400D change process
• Ability to review technical documentation to support Navy Review Team assessments of
vendor development and test activities

• The position will be located in Washington DC and requires travel approximately less
than 15% of the time. Applicant must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain and
maintain a DoD Security Clearance.
