Adventure Technology Services is a small IT contractor headquartered in Hanover, MD that provides high-level solutions to Federal Government customers and is always looking for high-quality professionals to join our team.

Position Title: Information Technology Senior Consultant

Required Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph

Location: Annapolis Junction

Description:

Performs as a consultant in highly specialized, leading-edge information technologies and methodologies; Provides highly technical and specialized guidance concerning automated solutions to complex information processing problems; Performs elaborate analyses and studies; Prepares reports and gives presentations. Manages the project work as defined by the government. Leads medium to large complex projects and major phases of very large projects. Provides highly technical and specialized guidance and solutions to complex IT problems. Should have twenty years of Linux and modern automation/configuration tools is essential. Familiar with full lifecycle management of Linux systems; Provisioning, Configuration Management and Patching.

Hands on NetApp experience a MUST

• Hands-on engineering experience with NetApp and other storage technologies and concepts

• Experience with SAN, NAS, Fiber Channel and iSCSI storage implementations

• Experience with capacity planning and sizing storage and backup environments

• Experience in performance tuning and optimizing storage and backup environments

• Experience with data center migrations and storage replication technologies

Education & Related Experience:

Minimum education and experience level: High School/GED with twenty (20) years of relevant
experience. Associate's degree with fifteen (15) years of relevant experience. Bachelor's degree with
twelve (12) years of relevant experience

IAT level 2 Certification such as Security+

Salary Range: $155,000-$245,000

Salary ranges are determined by multiple factors, including but not limited to:

Knowledge, skills, & abilities Years of experience

Education/Certifications Program placement

Duties & responsibilities Internal equity

More detailed information will be provided once those factors are known and addressed.

OVERTIME STATEMENT:

40 hours is the standard workweek. Some programs may allow additional hours to be worked as needed. A limited number of programs have on-call requirements where compensation is provided for being engaged to wait. In all circumstances, technical employees will be paid for all time worked.

BONUS STATEMENT:
All billable employees are eligible to earn quarterly bonuses that are based on the number of hours worked for that period. This hourly requirement is roughly 92% of hours available to bill in a given quarter. Quarterly Hours Bonuses are paid out on the same payroll as the time worked in that prior quarter (typically 21 days after the quarter ends.)
