Solidus is searching for a Cybersecurity Specialist. This role would primarily be responsible for ensuring the overall cybersecurity of a designatedprogram. This includes managing personnel security, conducting criticality analyses, developing a risk management framework, and conducting cybersecurity assessments. Other responsibilities of this role include assisting with overall systems engineering management and requirements development, particularly as it pertains to cybersecurity processes.
This position is located in Wright Patterson AFB,Ohio. Candidates must be able to work 100% on-site.
Day in the Life:
- Working in cooperation with several other companies, all collaboratively working towards successful developments, integrations, and demonstrations of the designated technology.
- Will demonstrate enthusiasm and strong interpersonal, as well as the capacity to communicate technically across engineers with a variety of disciplines and breadth/depth of focus.
What you will bring:
- US Citizenship and an active TS/SCI
- Bachelor's degree and 10 years of relevant experience or Advanced Degreeand8 years experience (In absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience is required)
-Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a approximately of 5 years of prior relevant experience
-Background in cybersecurity management
- Background network security
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in developing clear, executable plans
- Experience conducing and addressing vulnerability assessments
- Demonstrates the ability to think both tactically and strategically when solving problems
- Showcases excellent organizational skills and the ability to balancing priorities and schedules
- Has experience working effectively in highly collaborative environments and a demonstrated ability to take ownership of tasks and technical efforts spanning multiple stakeholders
