Systems Integration and Test Engineer

This position requires an active TS/SCI with Counterintelligence Polygraph clearance.

We are seeking a Systems Integration and Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will support the testing, debugging, and integration of complex systems while working collaboratively with integration and operations teams to ensure seamless functionality. This role requires a hands-on engineer with strong scripting, system troubleshooting, and server technology experience.

Compensation & Benefits:
  • Estimated Starting Salary Range for Systems Integration and Test Engineer: $126K - $155K
  • Pay commensurate with experience.
  • Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Systems Integration and Test Engineer Responsibilities Include:
  • Install and test new releases, ensuring regression functionality of the NCL baseline.
  • Collaborate with integration teams to support test events (e.g., IT, IV&V) and provide operational support to minimize system downtime.
  • Debug and troubleshoot software and system-level issues.
  • Implement baseline changes, address change requests, and perform technical evaluations.
  • Develop and update automated test scripts using scripting languages such as Python and Perl.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Systems Integration and Test Engineer Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Active Security+ certification.
  • Proficiency in Linux, Unix, or Windows environments.
  • Experience scripting with Python, Perl, and bash.
  • Familiarity with update services (e.g., Yum) and Ansible programming.
  • Knowledge of configuring Linux firewalls, networking, and integrating Linux servers with Active Directory or LDAP/Kerberos.
  • Hands-on experience with services such as httpd/Apache and ftpd.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
