Job Description:
Cydecor is seeking a Data Analytics Expert to join our Navy Readiness Reporting Enterprise - Business Intelligence (NRRE-BI) project team. This critical role involves utilizing advanced analytics languages, data analysis tools, and agile methodologies to deliver data-driven insights and decision-support products to our government customer.
As a key team member, you will collaborate closely with the Product Owner, data analysts, data engineers, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to define and execute high-priority tasks aligned with customer requirements.
Responsibilities include:
Secret Clearance is required.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, information systems management, mathematics, physics, operations research, statistics, engineering or related discipline from an accredited college or university. Master's degree is desired.
Work Schedule:
Onsite M-F 0800-1630 at Naval Support Activity, Norfolk VA.

- Develop data analytics products to support decision-making.
- Communicate complex analyses and data requirements effectively in both written and verbal formats.
- Partner with stakeholders to refine software requirements and ensure alignment with customer objectives.
- Analyze and process internal and external data, applying statistical methodologies to drive insights.
- Use tools such as Python, R, and SQL for data analysis and modeling.
- Collaborate with data engineers using platforms like Databricks to support the development and optimization of data pipelines and workflows.
- Commit to learning and applying Navy readiness production business domain knowledge.
- Minimum of 7+years of experience including specialized experience in the application of statistical and mathematical methods for systems modeling and data analysis. Demonstrated expertise with current and emerging software tools for systems modeling and analysis. Experience analyzing and modeling military force readiness data is desired.

- Strong proficiency using Structured Query Language (SQL).
