This is a training role for a 6-month assignment in Mozambique - Total Compensation $52K for 175 days in country (123 working days)
Housing, laundry, breakfast, ground transportation and flight to/from Mozambique are all covered.

Job Description – Trainer
The Trainer shall report to the Project Manager and serve as the program lead on curriculum development and training/mentorship implementation. Senior Trainer will work in various Sub-Saharan African countries (Mozambique specifically) partnered with the US State Department's GPOI (Global Peace Operations Initiative) training program. GPOI has absorbed the Africa Contingency Operations Training and Assistance (ACOTA) programs. These programs provide mentoring, advising, and training support and assistance to Host Nation (HN) training centers, their cadre, and units (company to brigade size and including multi-national force headquarters) in training for peacekeeping missions. This training may include extensive field training as well as training, equipment and infrastructure support for the training center and its staff and instructors.
Must have experience in training such topics as:
Combat
Physical Fitness
Marksmanship
Soldier Discipline
Battle Drills
First Aid
Trainer - Minimum requirements:
> The Senior Trainer shall serve as the Lead on curriculum implementation,
training and mentorship.
> Current Passport with at least 1 year left on it
> Military or law enforcement experience.
> Experience serving overseas in a military or contracting role.
> Direct experience training foreign military personnel.
> Experience developing POI or training curricula.
> Demonstrated military experience conducting counterterrorism and/or civil-military operations.
> Basic understanding of the geopolitics and security environment of the African Sahel.
> Portuguese language skills (conversational, fluent, native)
