Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with audits, prepare and reconcile ledgers, and help in the preparation of financial statements. This role involves solving accounting and financial problems, advising on managerial accounting issues, preparing journal entries, and performing analysis of data entry and payment processing.
Responsibilities

Assist with audits.
Prepare and reconcile ledgers.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements.

Perform analysis of data entry and payment processing.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
4+ years of relevant experience and demonstrated knowledge of accounting, account reconciliation, and financial analysis.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Familiarity with Momentum-based systems, particularly the Unified Financial Management System (UFMS) and Treasury Secure Payment System.
Preferred Skills
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Detailed oriented and self-starter.
Capability to work in a team environment, as well as independently.
Ability to maintain a positive relationship with customers and other vendors.
Demonstrated ability to comply with data standards and policies.
