The Opportunity:

As a Media/Video Technician for the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment (OUSD (A&S)), you will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and support of audiovisual systems. You will collaborate with clients, vendors, and team members to ensure seamless operation and high-quality performance for Unclassified and Secure Audio Visual/Video Teleconferencing (AV/VTC). Additionally, you will be responsible for educating technicians and personnel on the significance of adhering to federal regulations and Department of Defense (DoD) security measures.

Responsibilities:
  • Audio Video (AV) technicians responsible for USD (A&S) Executive Conference Room/Facility.
  • Responsible for maintenance, setup, takedown, and occasionally operation of electronic video equipment.
  • Additional duties may be assigned, as required within the context of these duties to support USD (A&S) Senior Leadership Conference Schedules


Qualifications:

Required:
  • Clearance: Active Top Secret/SCI.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience to include, personnel, scheduling, task management, planning, programming, and forecasting, correspondence, security, facilities with Department of Defense.
  • Experience within DoD and other federal agencies.
  • Must be highly proficient in using Video Conference Room Equipment and the Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must have outstanding English writing skills and the ability to quickly deliver quality written products in constrained time periods.
  • Must have strong active listening skills to assess customer needs and satisfaction.
  • Must have experience in managing customer expectations and working directly with customers.
  • Must have outstanding customer service abilities initiative, judgment, creativity, flexibility, and confidence.
  • Must have the ability to multi-task across multiple projects

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$45,400 - $90,900
