Technical Systems Analyst, Mid
Key Role:
Support Laser System development management personnel in technical and programmatic areas. Assist in developing proposals for the client to include technical approach, coming up with ideas for research or proposals, identifying challenges and risks, cost, schedule, and deliverables. Develop technical briefings and providing feedback on technical and program products. Help to document and track action items and creating or modifying plans, including work breakdown structures, cost and spending plans, cost estimates, statements of work, org charts, and staffing plans. Review deliverables, including technical content for accuracy, completeness, and presentation readability. Assist in developing science and technology roadmaps, W ork well with all levels, including staff, clients, sponsors, and management. Understand and follow protocols and assist in coordinating and documenting meetings. Be organized and proactive and working knowledge of laser weapon systems. Understand the technical and programmatic aspects of a program.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in developing program plans, work breakdown structures, staffing plans, financial documentation, quality assurance plans and procedures, point papers, status reports, and situation reports
- Experience developing, testing, and reviewing technical documentation
- Experience in systems engineering and technical activities
- Experience in writing proposals, working on technical programs, and management
- Knowledge of weapon systems and their technical knowledge
- Ability to work well with a variety of people and viewpoints
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science field
Additional Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience working with U.S. Navy weapon systems or Laser and EO systems
- 5+ years of experience with Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) electro-optical systems development, analysis, test and evaluation (T&E), and installation
- Experience with the integration of laser systems and major components of a laser system, including the optical train
- Knowledge of practical problems associated with the design, building, integration, and test of laser weapon systems
- Master's degree in an Engineering, Scientific, or Management field
