ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Linux System Administrator to join our team in San Antonio, TX.

Join ManTech's mission-focused national security team delivering enterprise infrastructure capabilities for a global workforce. This role will support the Intelligence Community's Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) platform in Texas. This role supports infrastructure associated with Data Center & Computing Services, Integrated Product Teams (IPT), and vendors to deliver services to ManTech's customers in the Intelligence Community.

Responsibilities, include but are not limited to:
  • Design, deploy and administer virtualized platforms, using VMWare.
  • Configure and manage Linux and Solaris operating systems.
  • Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware, applications, and software integration.
  • Troubleshoot, maintain integrity of and configure network components, along with implementation of operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Ten (10) years or more experience as a Linux Systems Administrator supporting the Intelligence Community in enterprise infrastructure-related programs.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field; additional five years of relevant experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Fifteen (15) years or more experience as a Linux Systems Administrator.
  • Experience in implementing solutions with PKI-controlled access is desired.
  • Understanding networking components is desired.


Clearance Requirements:
  • Must have a current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph


Physical Requirements:
  • Bending, carrying, kneeling, lifting, light work up to 20 lbs., reaching, repetitive motions, sedentary work, walking, working with data, ability to handle stress & work under pressure, ability to use MS Office, ability to use a PC, analytical or critical thinking skills, interpersonal & people skills, leadership skills, listening skills, multi-tasking ability, oral & written communication skills, organizational skills.
