Job Title: Senior Systems Engineers (Palo Alto Networks OR Splunk OR SailPoint)
Location: Ft. Meade, MD / Herndon, VA – On-Sit
Clearance Required: Top Secret clearance – TS/SCI with a CI or Full-Scope polygraph required

Job Description:

We are seeking to fill three distinct roles within our team: Palo Alto Networks Engineer (Level II), Senior Splunk Engineer, and SailPoint Engineer II. Each role focuses on different areas of expertise, but all require the ability to work independently, engage with clients, and mentor junior engineers. All three positions require active TS/SCI clearance with either a current and active CI or Full-Scope polygraph and experience in a classified environment.

Role 1: Palo Alto Networks Level II Engineer

Responsibilities:

Specialize in Palo Alto Networks products (NGFW, Panorama, Global Protect, Prisma Access).

Execute tasks outlined in the statement of work with minimal supervision, ensuring successful outcomes.

Collaborate with clients to understand technical requirements, solve complex problems, and provide technical support during and after implementation.

Mentor and provide guidance to Associate and Level I Engineers.

Document project progress, issues, and resolutions in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

Expert knowledge of Palo Alto Networks technologies.

Experience with IP network routing, switching (CCNP or equivalent), Kubernetes, Linux, and Terraform.

Strong understanding of governance/compliance standards (e.g., FAR, DFARs, CUI, CMMC, FedRAMP).

Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Top Secret clearance – TS/SCI with Full-Scope polygraph required.

Role 2: Senior Splunk Engineer

Responsibilities:

Lead the delivery of engagements with Splunk technologies, including Splunk Core, Splunk ITSI, and Splunk SOAR.

Assist Associate, Level I, and Level II Engineers with sophisticated tasking and mentorship.

Lead technical discussions with clients to analyze and understand their needs and objectives.

Provide technical support strategy for clients during and after project implementation.

Document project progress, issues, and resolutions in a concise and timely manner.

Lead a team and act as an escalation point for complex issues.

Qualifications:

Splunk Core certifications and

Recent Splunk IT Service Intelligence (ITSI) experience required.

Experience with Splunk SOAR, Python, Ansible, Terraform, and Linux scripting.

Security-related certifications (CISSP, Security+, CASP) are required.

Broad understanding of SIEM, cybersecurity, and infrastructure concepts.

Familiarity with governance and compliance frameworks such as FAR, DFARs, CUI, CMMC, and FedRAMP.

Top Secret clearance – TS/SCI with CI polygraph required.

Role 3: SailPoint Engineer II

Locations:

Responsibilities:

Specialize in SailPoint identity management solutions and Java development.

Execute tasks with minimal supervision, ensuring all deliverables are completed on time.

Collaborate with clients to analyze and understand their needs and provide technical guidance.

Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting during and after project implementation.

Lead mentorship for junior engineers, assisting with their professional development.

Document project progress, issues, and resolutions in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

Expertise in SailPoint, Radiant Logic, and Java development.

Experience with identity management solutions and SIEM concepts.

Familiarity with governance/compliance standards such as FAR, DFARs, CUI, CMMC, and FedRAMP.

Security-related certifications (CISSP, Security+, CASP) required.

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively.

Top Secret clearance – TS/SCI with CI polygraph required.
