Systems Administrator (Windows) - Top Secret Clearance

We are looking for an experienced Systems Administrator (Windows) with demonstrated experience in supporting Windows networks.

As a Systems Administrator (Windows), you will:

• Apply systems administration skills to support the US Air Force Technical Applications Center (AFTAC) Cyber Enterprise Support (ACES) contract
• Work with a team of driven, supportive, and highly skilled professionals.
• Apply advanced systems operation skills and support the implementation and maintenance of multi-user computer systems ensuring smooth operation for the client
• Provide support for VMware

A week in the life of a Systems Administrator (Windows):

• Monitors and manages system resources, including CPU usage, disk usage, and response to maintain operating efficiency
• Provide technical guidance to meet Cyber Support Squadron goals utilizing sound and reasonable solutions to meet complex and challenging problems.
• Performs system security administration functions, including creating user profiles and accounts.
• Work on the development or refinement of current and future IT systems.
• Setting up administrator accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system-wide software, and allocating mass storage space.

Job Requirements

• Clearance: Active TS/SSBI with SCI eligibility
• Administrator experience maintaining smooth operation of multi-user Windows-based computer systems
• Applicable training certificate issued in accordance with guidelines provided by the software vendor (i.e. Microsoft MCSE/MCSA, Oracle DBA,) from an accredited training institution plus related experience.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification such as
  • Security+ CE (Continuing Education)
  • SSCP (Systems Security Certified Practitioner)
  • GSEC Certification
  • GICSP (Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional)
  • CySA+ ** (Cybersecurity Analyst)
  • CCNA Security (Cisco Certified Network Associate - Security)
• Experience: 2- 4Years of related experience maintaining smooth operation of multi-user computer systems

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary/hourly range for this position is $95,000- $105,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
