Softek Global Services provides both operations & strategic support to tribal 8(a) & commercial organizations. Our client we are supporting is a family of companies are comprised of multiple SBA Certified Native American Tribal 8(a) and multi-certified organizations focused on delivering Information Technology, Management Consulting, and General Construction solutions to the Federal Government along with the Commercial Sector. They are actively seeking a Contingency Operations Program Support Specialist based in Washington D.C. This position is onsite and has a duration of six months with the possibility of being extended.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our client’s team supporting their efforts with a transitioning government entity. The main responsibilities of the role include:
• Provide support services to the Continuity Emergency Response Team (CERT) program.
• Develop and maintain a roster of personnel assigned to the CERT.
• Coordinate with Continuity Program Officers and team members by providing any training required or offering administrative support necessary to facilitate team operations.
• Identify gaps in continuity team makeup and make recommendations to Contingency Operations Division leadership.
• Design, develop, and maintain briefings related to continuity operations.
• Deliver briefings to senior government officials.
• Provide on-site tours and area familiarization to team members and others as determined by Contingency Operations Division staff.
• Assist with other emergency management responsibilities as assigned by staff.
The qualified candidate will have the following knowledge and experience:
• A minimum of one year of experience within federal emergency management or continuity support.
• Minimum Training, Certifications, and Education include but are not limited to: o BA or BS degree in any discipline.
• Minimum Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

Hourly rate for this position is $64.90 per hour.
