**Network Performance Engineer**
As a **Network Performance Engineer**, you will ensure the smooth operation of the organization’s network infrastructure by deploying and maintaining enterprise-level network monitoring solutions. Your role involves tracking and analyzing network traffic to ensure peak efficiency, monitoring the health of all physical devices within the network, and diagnosing application performance issues and potential bottlenecks to optimize user experience.
By implementing robust network monitoring solutions, you’ll ensure the organization's network remains resilient, efficient, and aligned with operational goals.
**How You Will Make an Impact:**
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) for systems and infrastructure.
- Develop monitoring processes based on findings using workflows, diagrams, and data models.
- Create and execute test plans to evaluate infrastructure and systems performance, reporting findings with actionable recommendations.
- Establish and enforce policies for standardizing systems and monitoring tools across the organization.
- Configure monitoring solutions to test infrastructure availability, measure user experience, and meet customer and business needs.
- Define system components and ensure scalability while guiding the project’s technical direction to provide the best service in a timely and efficient manner.
**What You’ll Need to Succeed:**
- **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- **Experience:** 5+ years of hands-on experience in networking technologies, specifically switches and routers, with a proven ability to resolve complex LAN/WAN issues.
- **Certifications:** At least one active network certification (e.g., Cisco Certified Network Administrator [CCNA], Cisco Certified Network Professional [CCNP], or Juniper certifications like JNCIA-Junos).
- **Technical Skills:**
- Experience with network infrastructure brands such as Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, and/or Arista.
- Familiarity with protocols and systems like SNMP, Syslog, VLAN, Routing and Switching, TACACS, and Radius (ACS/ISE).
- Hands-on experience with monitoring tools like NetScout and InfoVista.
**Preferred Skills:**
- Strong troubleshooting capabilities to address network issues promptly and enhance reliability.
- A proactive mindset for continuous performance optimization.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to align network operations with business goals.
