Systems Engineer and Architect Lead

We are seeking a highly motivate Enterprise Systems Architect manager to join our National Intelligence Program to be at the forefront of complex data-driven initiatives . The candidate will oversee the design and implementation of our hybrid IT infrastructure, encompassing both on-premises and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of software and hardware systems, ensuring they are optimally integrated and configured to support the strategic goals of our organization. This role requires an individual with a strong technical foundation, leadership skills, and the ability to design scalable, secure, and efficient system architectures .

R esponsibilities

• Lead the development and evolution of the enterprise's IT architecture, balancing on-premises and cloud solutions for optimal performance and cost savings to the customer.

• Ensure the seamless integration of new software and hardware into the existing IT landscape, including the selection and deployment of SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS offerings

• Develop strategic plans for the organization's IT systems, including assessments of new technologies and recommendations for their adoption

• Oversee cloud architecture design, deployment, scaling, and management within providers like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

• Conduct regular reviews of systems and processes to identify opportunities for cost-saving, improved performance, and system consolidation.

• E ns ure security standards and practices are being followed for systems and appl ica tions b eing oper ated , maintained , and enhanced

• D ocument and report discrepanci es ide ntified with system s/ applications being developed

• Lea d syste m architectu re a nd engineering e fforts across the program collabo rating with Governme nt stakehold e rs , system int egrators, and c ontractors developing new systems that w ill be delivered into production

• Assist the DevSec Ops Lead ensurin g end-t o-end SDLC process is perfo rmed in a consistent , effect ive, and p rogressive manner

• E nsure systems and applications being developed by 3 rd party contractor s are in compliance with establish ed and approved practices to en sure there's minimum risk of operating and maintaining them when they are released into production

• Work closely with other IT leaders and business stakeholders to align the enterprise systems architecture with business objectives

Qualifications

Requir ed :

• Possess an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science , Information Technology, Systems Architecture, or equivalent experie nce

• 10+ yea rs' e xper ience w ith softw are development following Agile or SAFe , D evSecOps , and system architecture programs

Desired

• IT IL certifica tion

• Cer tified in S AFe or other Agile framew ork

• Professional certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Cloud Professional Architect are highly desired.
