We are seeking a highly motivated C yber Security Engineer to join our National Intelligence Program supporting the operations, maintenance of a complex , hybrid on-premises and cloud enterprise IT environment . As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will be working with an agile, fast paced team focused on defending our client's network.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor network performance , systems for po tential threats , troubleshoot issues, and escalate appropriately to respond to incidents
• Identify , escalate, and address incidents, conduct thorough root cause analyses and work with senior engineers to implement corrective actions to prevent future breache s
• Parti cipate in accreditation process es for systems to ensure compliance with the Sponsor's security standards and certifications
• I mplement security measures designed by senior engineers
• Lea rn security policies and protocols to ensuring compliance with IC standards and collaborate with other engineers to conduct regular vulnerability assessments to identify and address weaknesses
• Support Assessment and Authorization (A&A) and information assurance processes and documentation
• Participate in efforts to e nsure network reliability and availability through redundancy, failover, and other high-availability techniques
• Demonst rate willingness to learn new concepts and steadily take on additional responsibilities
• Stay abreast of the latest network technology trends that can enhance the performance and capability of analytics and software services

Qualifications

Required :

• Possess a n active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science , Information Technology, or a related field
• Familiarity with high-performance network infrastructure that supports data-heavy analytic and software applications
• Experience with modern networking technologies, including SD-WAN, MPLS, VPN, and /or cloud networking services
• Understanding of Cisco routers and switches ' c onfigur ation , manag ement , and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of network security practices, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, able to address complex networking challenges
• Excellent communication skills, with the capacity to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Desired:

• Familiarity with automation tools and scripting languages to streamline network operations
• Experience in Cybersecurity Fundamentals (e.g., SANS courses, MITRE ATT&CK, CEH or similar training/experience)
• Computer Networking experience (e.g., TCP/IP, packet capture data structures, TLS and related data)
