About the Role:
Itero Group is seeking a talented and experienced ServiceNow Program/Project Manager to lead the development and maintenance of START, a robust application built on ServiceNow's platform. This individual will oversee agile teams, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions aligned with evolving market trends and organizational needs.

Location: Rosslyn, VA (Hybrid Role)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Stay informed on market trends and advancements in ServiceNow products to guide technology adoption and innovation.
  • Collaborate with the PM and Deputy PM to ensure seamless execution of the RPC project.
  • Conduct technical feasibility assessments for new application capabilities.
  • Build training plans and approaches to enhance software engineering capabilities within the team.
  • Serve as the development lead for agile sprints, ensuring applicability and functionality of identified requirements.
  • Establish coding best practices, lead code reviews to identify defects and improvements, and maintain high standards of performance, security, and scalability.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues in production environments, particularly for newly released code.
  • Oversee unit test development, regression testing, and code refactoring efforts.
  • Develop estimates, manage schedules, and communicate effectively with partners for new features and releases.

Required Clearance:
  • Active Top Secret//SCI clearance.

Educational and Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science) or equivalent education, training, and experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive management experience.
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in similar roles.
  • Proven ability to manage priorities, risks, scope, timelines, and communicate effectively across stakeholders.

Technical Expertise:
  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow products, platform, modules, and architecture.
  • Proficiency in tools such as ServiceNow Studio, Visual Studio Code, ServiceNow PowerShell cmdlets, and debugging tools.
  • Expertise in programming languages like JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML, CSS, AJAX, Glide API, REST API, and OData API.
  • Familiarity with data integration tools, including ServiceNow Integration Hub and REST APIs.
  • Deep understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies, including sprint planning, code reviews, and change management procedures.
  • Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
  • Experience in configuring data integrations and following security regulations like NIST SP 800.
  • Familiarity with tools like Bravium Best Practice Engine, WebStorm, and Splunk.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent certifications.
