Job description:
shall provide Open Source (OS) Research support to the Hard Target Programs as part of the Middle East - Central South West Asia Integrated Strategy Division. This contractor shall embed with analysts in the Office of the Middle East and Southwest Asia (AOS). The contractor shall discover, retrieve, and analyze open & classified source data; and apply expertise in evaluating & acquiring sources of data. The contractor shall utilize regional and subject matter expertise to provide information tailored to mission requirements. The contractor shall collaborate with other agencies and outside institutions to enhance information access and resource sharing, and they shall recommend & acquire source materials to enhance geospatial open source reporting.
(U//FOUO) The contractor shall provide Arabic OS researchers to create & execute effective research plans, and collaborate closely with customers to ensure OS collection requirements are met in an accurate and timely fashion. Advise customers and management on collection issues, recommend options to improve collection, participate in current & future systems architecture development and new software tools evaluation. The contractor shall participate & present at internal and external working groups and attend meetings/conferences involving the OS community.

- Utilize Arabic linguistic skills and existing experience or education in analyzing Middle East issues
- Provide onsite and co-located research support to both the Analysis and Source Directorate analysts from multiple locations
- Develop and execute open source research plans in accordance with NGA methodologies utilizing multiple databases and resources
- Evaluate sources gathered against requirements, deliver information in prescribed formats, and disseminate to/though appropriate mechanisms
- Participate and collaborate in/through cross-agency forums
- Enter/input open source research activities in appropriate mechanisms for production tracking and metrics gathering
- Conduct product research
- Provide proactive research updates to websites, (e.g. lntellipedia) and other sites used by Research Center customers
Required Qualifications:
- TS/SCI clearance
- Minimum of four years of open source research
- Experience with ArcGIS
