We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Director overseeing, leading and managing complex programs and products in the LOCUST DE Product Division. The Program Director will be responsible for overseeing multiple program managers, ensuring they align with the company's objectives, meet contractual obligations, and are delivered on time and within budget.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, deep knowledge of defense industry standards, and the ability to foster cross-functional collaboration among engineering, operations, and business development teams.

Salary Range: $190K - $250K

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Director overseeing, leading and managing complex programs and products in the LOCUST DE Product Division. The Program Director will be responsible for overseeing multiple program managers, ensuring they align with the company's objectives, meet contractual obligations, and are delivered on time and within budget.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, deep knowledge of defense industry standards, and the ability to foster cross-functional collaboration among engineering, operations, and business development teams.
On any given day, you may be asked to perform the following:
- Lead the implementation of best practices and a community of program managers, leveraging the DE CUAS programs and products as best practices across the enterprise.
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple programs, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, government agencies, and stakeholders.
- Primary point of contact for all program activities, contract negotiations, and deliverables.
- Primary point of contact for pricing activities for new and existing customers, working with contracts and pricing counterparts alongside program managers to ensure timelines are met and best practices leveraged.
- Primary point of contact for program financial tracking and performance.
- Oversee program budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure cost-effective and timely program delivery.
- Responsible for monthly financial roll ups feeding and reporting on the divisions Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
- Lead risk management efforts, identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, finance, and business development, to drive program success.
- Coordinate with engineering and work with engineering / technical counterparts on IRAD & technical documentation maturation.
- Provide regular updates to senior leadership on program status, key performance metrics, and any issues impacting progress.
- Lead proposal development efforts for new business opportunities, including shaping program strategies, cost estimates, and schedules.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across program execution to optimize performance.
YOU ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE THIS:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
- 20+ years of experience managing complex defense programs or projects.
- Demonstrated experience managing budgets, schedules, and risk for large-scale projects.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a TS-SCI security clearance.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master's degree is strongly preferred.
- PMP or Program Management certification preferred.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a high-stakes environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Current/active TS-SCI security clearance.
Salary Range: $190K - $250K
