Responsibilities
As a Facility Manager with MTSI you will be responsible for assisting the Site Lead with oversight of MTSI Lorton Facility. This includes general conditions, space planning, maintenance, administrative and project management duties for the site.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all outside service vendors, including Janitorial, HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Physical Security, and Utilities etc
- Conduct physical inspections of the facility to identify areas in need of repair and create plans to address those issues
- Produce project status reports and communicate deliverables to all stakeholders and senior management
- Perform routine building maintenance duties, including minor painting, electrical repairs, plumbing, carpentry, and heating ventilation systems maintenance
Qualifications
Requirements:
- 10 years of strategic and operational facilities management and services experience, including knowledge of property management, vendor management, leases, construction terms and practices, preferably related to aerospace and defense or technology-based industries
- Experience in program and project management
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems
- 10 years of experience managing cross-functional teams (i.e. AV/VC Engineers, Networking, Technical Support, Facilities, external vendors, architects, general contractors, and users to drive all aspects of project delivery)
- Creative problem-solving, analytical skills, agile under pressure, and impeccable business judgment
- Ability to establish priorities, work independently, successfully execute multiple projects, and proceed with objectives with minimal supervision
- Detail oriented and ability to produce and deliver executive presentations, produce project status reports, and communicate deliverables to all stakeholders and senior management
- Proven vision, leadership, and strategic skills in prioritizing evolving initiatives in a fast-paced, high-tech environment; ability to translate ideas and capabilities into effective initiatives
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills across several diverse technical and non-technical groups
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or Facilities Management Certificate (FMC, CFM) or other industry certifications
Clearance Requirements:
- TS/SCI eligibility
- Please Note: U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
