Clearance Level: Secret (or ability to obtain - can also hold up to an existing TS/SCI with Polygraph)
Location: Tysons Corner, VA
Position Summary: We are seeking a Data Scientist with a Secret clearance to contribute to the coding of AI-based applications supporting multiple classified customers in an Agile environment pulling from large data sets. Potential applications may be used to support mission areas including but not limited to: asset readiness, data collection/processing, hypersonics, flight tests, launch reliability, situational awareness, force readiness, multi-domain operations, and battlefield superiority.
Minimum LCAT Requirements -
Required Technology Skills: Applied Machine Learning experience (regression and classification, supervised, and unsupervised learning) Proficiency in time-series data analysis, cleansing, and normalization Experience with scalable Machine Learning (MapReduce, streaming) Software development experience with JavaScript and Python Experience with Git or other version control software

- Education: Bachelor's in Computer Science (or related) fields
- Year's of Experience: 2-4+ years of Data Science

- Strong math background (liner algebra, calculus, probability and statistics)
Day to day responsibilities:
- Collaborate with data and subject matter experts and customer teams to seek, understand, validate, interpret, and correctly use data and business insights
- Train, validate and deploy machine learning pipelines
- Test, troubleshoot, and enhance customer software applications with and on behalf of customers
- Identify application performance bottlenecks and implement optimizations
- Write application specifications, tutorials and documentation
- Interface with MacBook technology
