Radiance Technologies, a 100% employee-owned company, is seeking candidates for a FPGA Digital Design Engineer to support a U.S. Space Force program. This position requires a talented and experienced FPGA Engineer to contribute to a larger multidiscipline engineering team to support the analysis/feasibility, planning/requirements, design, system development, testing, deployment, maintenance, evaluation, and disposition/disposal of a spacecraft payload. The FPGA Digital Design Engineer will design, simulate, synthesize and test FPGA designs with Verilog and VHDL. Candidate will be required to apply out-of-the-box thinking to develop novel, non-traditional designs typically not implemented on FPGAs. Must work well in a small, fast-paced and mission-driven environment.

Desired Qualifications:
- MS Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or other relevant fields
- Proficient in Verilog/VHDL design
- Experience implementing complex designs on SoC FPGAs
- Experience with digital ASIC and FPGA design flows
- Experience developing firmware for custom CPUs
- Experience working with Xilinx FPGAs
- Experience developing and testing FW on FPGA prototype environments
- Experience with Hardware Security, Cryptography and/or Digital Rights Management
- Desired Tool Experience: MATLAB, Python, Xilinx Vivado/ISE
- Familiar with Linux and device drivers and Petalinux
- Bare metal programming experience with no operating system using SOC, FPGA hardware.
- Demonstrated experience in working with SDRs and RF communication.
- Hands on experience in collecting and analyzing RF signals.
- Familiarity with various modulation and demodulation techniques like FSK and/or PSK
- Ability to implement signal processing algorithms, demodulation techniques.
- Strong understanding of RF signal processing/signal analysis and wireless communication principles.
- Ability to test and validation of RF systems to ensure optimal performance.
Required Experience:
- BS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or relevant field
- Knowledge of RF hardware systems and testing equipment.
- Seven (7) years digital design experience
- Experience implementing complex designs in Verilog/VHDL for FPGA platforms
- Hands-on experience with JTAG debuggers, logic analyzers and protocol analyzers
- Knowledge of Linux and Petalinux.
- Will require innovation, quick learning, excellent communication skills and adaptive thinking.
- US citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
