Senior Advanced Systems Engineer - PWSA

Contract Position

$82.19-$87.19/Hour

Senior Advanced Systems Engineer job in Scottsdale, Arizona is available with Moseley Technical Services Top Space and Defense company. As a PWSA Enterprise Level Engineer you will be a member of a cross functional team responsible for developing and deploying the state-of-the-art ground operational system.

Responsibilities:

• Research and analyze data, such as vendor products, COTS components, GFE/CFE, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application
• Perform system design definition, and management
• Conduct functional analysis, performance analysis, and requirements analysis
• Support the generation of technical engineering products by using the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the system development life cycle
• Facilitate discussions with senior levels of Customer Stakeholders

Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain U.S. Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required
• Bachelor's in Systems Engineering, or STEM and 8+ years of experience, or a Master's degree and 6+ years of experience
• Experience within Satellite communications, Ground to Satellite communications, Ground operations or Satellite constellation contact planning
• Strong presentation and communications skills with experience in the art of negotiation and the ability to meet challenging customer requirements with win-win solutions
• Experience performing design of networks, with working knowledge of networking protocols
• Experience with technical analyses for a software subsystem or system elements
• Experience in Software functional analysis and interface definitions, including Application Programing Interface experience
