SkyWater Federal is searching for a Procurement Specialist, Senior Staff, responsible for sourcing, proposal evaluation, negotiation, award, execution, administration and closeout phases of a wide variety of materials to support SkyWater Federal operations.
Responsibilities:
-Perform and manage multiple procurement support functions and tasks.
-Negotiate price, delivery and payment terms on a wide variety of purchased products and services.
-Conduct market research and analyze contract and financial data.
-PO Placement and follow-up. Expedite POs as needed.
-Draft Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quotation (RFQ) and Request for Information (RFI) content and perform analysis.
-Draft procurement documentation such as SOWs, performance work statements (PWSs), procurement requests (PRs), required justifications, determinations and findings for Government review and approval.
-Ensures compliance with all Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS) and public law requirements, as well as company policies and procedures.
-Work as a liaison between internal customers and external vendors for PO placement, product inquiries and delivery.
-Identify supply disruptions and define solutions to minimize business impact.
-Assist with internal and external audits.
Required Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Experience equivalency will be considered if no degree.
-Prior experience working with FAR and DFAR regulations.
-8+ years experience in a Procurement Specialist or in a similar procurement role.
-Demonstrated experience using strong leadership abilities to influence others.
-Strong working knowledge of supply chain management techniques and industry best practices.
-Proficient with MS Office suite.
-Superior customer service and interpersonal skills.
-Demonstrated attention to detail and strong time management / organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Existing DOD security clearance.
-Experience configuring ERP systems such as Unanet or NetSuite.
-Experience with CPFF and FFP contracts as it relates to procurement.
-Experience with budget & vendor management and accounting treatment of costs in a CPFF environment.
US Citizenship Required- This position will require the holding of or ability to obtain government security clearance which requires U.S Citizenship.
