We are seeking a skilled IT Specialist to support our RSC2 team in Tucson, AZ. This hybrid role will require both remote and on-site work to ensure seamless IT operations and end-user support. The IT Specialist will focus on maintaining and improving our IT infrastructure, supporting end-users with virtual desktops, device configuration, and providing deskside support for both corporate and BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) environments.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide responsive, high-quality end-user and deskside support, including support for virtual desktops and physical devices (BYOD, laptops, Dell equipment, iOS/iPhone, and Droid).
  • Manage and troubleshoot issues within the Microsoft O365 and Azure environments, including user access, configuration, and application support
  • Implement and adhere to NIST 800-53 security controls, ensuring all devices and systems align with the latest federal compliance and cybersecurity standards.
  • Configure and maintain end-user devices, ensuring compatibility and security for a variety of operating systems and device types.
  • Utilize ITIL principles to effectively manage incidents, problems, and service requests, continuously improving service quality and user satisfaction.
  • Conduct proactive monitoring and maintenance of IT systems to optimize performance and mitigate potential issues.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to implement technology upgrades and enhance system reliability and security.
  • Support knowledge-sharing and training for end-users on IT best practices, especially in device security and efficient use of supported software.
Qualifications:
  • Security Certification: CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent (required)
  • Experience: 2-4 years of relevant experience in IT support or systems administration
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, Azure, NIST 800-53 security framework, ITIL, virtual desktops, and device configuration
  • Device Knowledge: Skilled in configuring and supporting BYOD, laptops, Dell hardware, iOS/iPhone, and Android devices
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with end-users and team members effectively
  • Problem Solving: Excellent troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
Core Hours: 0700-1500 (Local Time)
