Position : System Architect
Position Summary:
Our company is seeking a System Architect to support Air Mobility Command's (AMC) C2 and Business Systems.
HQ AMC's mission is to provide integrated Command, Control, Communications, and Computer Information (C4I) systems and manage strategic C4I resources in support of AMC's global air mobility mission. HQ AMC requires technical and support task services that enable the operational functionality and readiness state of the systems, infrastructure, and services that satisfy the HQ AMC mission for the Mobility Air Force (MAF) C2 Business Systems, projects, applications, and infrastructures.
Clearance Eligibility: Active DoD - Secret
Salary: The salary offered will depend on education, certifications, length and relevance of work history, and professional experience.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborates with technical and management staff to solve complex information issues.
- Provides advice and guidance regarding complex information systems' design, development, installation, operation, and maintenance.
- Provides industry-leading expertise in areas such as technology assessment, feasibility studies, cost/benefit analysis, hardware and software evaluation, developing information systems standards and methodologies, and business process re-engineering.

Education and Certification Requirements:
- Associate's degree or higher
- DoD IAT Level II (Security+CE preferred)
Background and Experience:
5 years of relevant experience
Required Technical Skills:
- Act as a senior expert working independently with the ability to oversee/conduct projects.
- AWS Cloud experience is a plus
- VMware and vSphere/vCenter management is a plus
- ESXI Host management is a plus
- SolarWinds experience is a plus
- RHEL 7, 8 management and administration
- Windows Server 2016 + management and administration
- Active Directory management and administration
- Group Policy management
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- General office environment. Work is generally sedentary but may require movement about the office for up to 10% of the time. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.
- Contractor site with 0-10% travel possible.
- Possible off-hours work to support releases and outages.
- Occasional movement of small articles up to 10 lbs.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Continually operate a computer and other office productivity machinery.
- Occasionally required to move self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments, including tight and confined spaces.
- Continually required to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.
- Continually utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information, and/or use a keyboard.
