Avum is seeking a talented and experienced Scrum Master to work with cross-functional teams and facilitate Agile processes to ensure efficient delivery of products.
What You Will Be Doing
Facilitate and coordinate Agile Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
Identify and troubleshoot obstacles that hinder the team’s progress.
Promote continuous improvement through retrospectives and feedback sessions.
Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
Track KPIs and help teams deliver high-quality products/solutions on time.
Ensure the team adheres to Scrum practices and maintains a focus on continuous improvement.
Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.
What You Will Need:
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Scrum Master
Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum principles and practices
Knowledge of Agile Project Management Tools, like Jira
Professional Scrum Master (PSM) Level 2
U.S. Citizenship is required in addition to the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies

Location
This fully remote role requires participation in virtual meetings using tools like Microsoft Teams. Availability is required during core Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours, Monday through Friday. The candidate will coordinate remotely with external project teams and Avum employees and may be required to attend in-person meetings, which may require occasional travel to government sites in Washington, D.C., and the Avum office in Agoura Hills, California.
